My love of cars started when I was very young. My dad and uncles grew up during the muscle car era, (1950’s And 60’s). I heard stories and saw pictures of all the cool cars they had back in the day. It was only natural that I bought my first classic car when I was 16. Most of my free time and money was spent on that car, it’s a hobby I still enjoy to this day. Even after attending college at USD I decided that working in an office was not the career I wanted and that I could make my hobby my job. I attended the automotive program at Southeast Technical College and was then recruited into a dealership. I eventually ventured into the independent automotive side of the industry and was able to start my own business. A wise man once said “Do what you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.” In my case, truer words have never been spoken.

I have been working at Arrowhead Automotive since July of 2013. I got to know Chris and Arrowhead through my previous position working in the parts industry, where I serviced wholesale accounts. One day, Chris asked me if I would ever consider a career change, and I have never looked back. I have always worked on my own vehicles — since that was the only way they were going to get fixed, growing up in a large family. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our energetic 6-year-old daughter, who keeps us busy.

Max, the friendly American Staffordshire Terrier, has been a dedicated member of Arrowhead Automotive team since he was only eight weeks old. With nearly five years of automotive experience under his furry belt, Max greets customers with a wagging tail and a warm welcome. Whether lounging by the reception desk or inspecting the garage, Max brings a delightful touch of warmth to Arrowhead Automotive every day.

							I have taken my car here a few times, each for minor things (luckily thus far, fingers crossed). Similar for many other people, my car is my only one and an absolute necessity; when something goes wrong it is hard to know where to turn! This garage truly cares about its customers and what is best for their cars. They are the garage I will choose to trust time and time again. Their service isn't just to make money, it is about doing right by the customer even if that means they refer you out to somewhere else because they know something may have a warranty (like a tire), even if you did not even think of it yourself! Additionally, each time I have been there, service is direct and efficient! I am thankful to have found a place that I can depend on close by!
